Statistics aggregates every Production Batch you've logged. Use it to answer business questions: which flavors actually pay for themselves, when do you peak through the season, which recipes are quietly losing money. The Financial tab is hidden when the app is set to Enthusiast mode.
Open it from: Sidebar toolbar › Statistics.
Production tab
The first tab focuses on what you've made:
Volume over time — a line chart of kilograms produced per day, week or month.
Batches per recipe — which flavors run most often.
Average rating per recipe — your panel's verdict, batch after batch.
Date ranges — first batch, last batch, frequency.
Financial tab
The financial side mirrors the production side, with money instead of volume:
Revenue, cost and margin — totals and per-recipe breakdowns.
Margin % — quickly spot the recipes priced too low for what they cost.
Top performers — most profitable, most produced, highest margin.
Cost per unit — how each recipe breaks down at the per-scoop / per-100 g level.
Statistics is only as good as the data you feed it
Two habits make these numbers genuinely useful:
Keep ingredient cost up to date when supplier prices change.
Always mark batches as produced — don't just close Make Gelato and move on.
Reading the trends
A flavour with high volume but low margin may be a loss-leader you can re-price.
A flavour with high margin but tiny volume may be worth a bigger display in the case.
A consistent low rating on a high-volume recipe is a balancing problem — go back to Balancing a Recipe.
